The SDI Open Water Scuba Diver course is your beginner course in which you will acquire the necessary skills to safely complete open water dives.
These skills include buoyancy, equipment installation, dive planning, safe dive execution and equipment maintenance.
The course includes all the basic knowledge about equipment, physiology and the underwater world. In the practical part the student trains basic skills under water, in the pool and in the open water. This course is the springboard to explore diving destinations all over the world or just in the neighbourhood.
Requirements: Minimum age: 10 years (10-14 years: Junior Open Water Scuba Diver), suitability for diving

4 open water dives in the lake
The diver brings his own ABC set with neoprene booties and wetsuit for hyghenic reasons. Alternatively, a 7mm semi-dry / semi-dry diving suit can be provided for the duration of the course for 49€, provided we have a suitable suit.
All other equipment like regulator, jacket, tanks, diving computer etc. are at your disposal. After the course you will be able to move correctly and safely under water in compliance with all safety standards. You will now receive the Open Water Scuba Diver certification - an entitlement to dive worldwide. The recommended diving depth is a maximum of 18m.
Course fees include a personal SDI textbook and certification fees.
Entrance fees to the lakes and, if applicable, the indoor centre are borne by the student.
